Throughout his 40-year career, Ian has trained and connected leaders, aspiring leaders, and students around the world, in and across a variety of professional fields. His career began in 1980, with a decade in Financial Services in London before he transitioned to pastoral leadership and global mission projects. From there, he moved into several University roles leading to Executive Director of the International Center at the Technical College System of Georgia. Currently, he serves as Chairman of the Georgia Rotary Student Program that brings nations together promoting world peace through understanding.

In additional to his broad and global experience, Ian also has a BA in History and Political Philosophy from Lancaster University in the UK. He went on to earn an MA in Religious Studies and Doctor of Ministry and Doctor of Theology degrees. He is a professionally trained and credentialed Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation. In addition, Ian and his wife Julie are both ordained pastor/priest and are focused on this legacy chapter making their  difference and impact together.

Julie also began her career Financial Servcies before transitioning to Social Work. She earned a BA in Social Administration and worked with patients and their families in a mental health hospital. She has earned Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees, serving alongside Ian in pastoral ministry and international missions projects. She is a marriage and family wellness trainer, certified by the Georgia Family Council.

In addition to over 25 years practice in pastoral counseling, Julie is an experienced administrator, book keeper, and office manager. She is a certified Change Management Consultant. Julie serves the 110 year-old Rotary Club of Columbus, Georgia as Executive Secretary.

Since meeting Ian in 1979, Julie has served alongside him in ministry, teaching and training, humanitarian, and peace building projects and partnerships around the world. She is an ordained pastor and an active Rotarian.

In 2020, after 40 years of professional experience including: leading national sales teams, several executive roles, international affairs, project management, workforce development, government service, event planning, leadership development, and keynote speaking, Ian retired to found I & J International, LLC.

Ian’s work continues his mission and spans industries, sectors, countries, and cultures as he serves organizations and leaders through his global network of friends and colleagues built over the decades to connect and support them to achieve their greater results, impact, and performance.
